Popsicle Mess

The weather reached a high of 95 degrees today in Cincinnati and its only May. We enjoyed some outside fun and then had a popsicle, which Annabel ate in record time. She knows how to eat them now!

Weekend Getaway

Scott and I got to go to Chicago for the long weekend with some friends. Although I missed the children terribly and the weather wasn't very nice we still had an amazing time. Lots of eating out, shopping, people watching, bar hopping and spending time with friends we don't get to see too often anymore.

Although we never actually had a Spring this year we are enjoying the sunny hot weather now by swimming and playing outside a LOT!

Celebrity Sighting!!

A couple nights ago we heard Joe Biden would be driving past our house so we met up with some friends to see if we could catch a glimpse. Although they were more enthralled with the million police motorcycles, cars and ambulances we did see the VP himself in his black limo.







Our friend, Connor, who lives a few houses away. We actually have known Connor's parents since high school and college. Doesn't he look like he fits right in with that blonde hair and fair skin?

Beautiful Weather

We have spent a lot of time outside with the weather being so nice this week. Griffin and Annabel love watching the neighbors yard getting cut so while they watched the show I took some pictures with my new camera. I can't decide if I like how old Griffin is starting to look to me, or not...

Its the thought that counts

Griffin has been stating that he would like a blue cake for his birthday party for months now. I got in way over my head with this one. Should have stuck to a simple "Happy Birthday Griffin" on a blue sheet cake :) That is a train, if you can't tell.

He looked terrified every time he did it but he always smiled at the end and went back for more.

Since Griffin's birthday party is not until next weekend we decided to do a little family celebration at Coco Key's Water Resort. It was a really nice place, we were surprised we hadn't been before or heard more about it. Unfortunately, we didn't get many pictures as it was hard to keep the camera dry but both kids had a blast. Griffin AND Annabel each did the slides about 100 times each, we went in the lazy river together, Scott and I did the big slides and everyone in the waterpark heard me scream, we had lunch and played in the arcade. Perfect day.

Spring Night Bike Ride

The rain stopped for the first time in about a month so Scott took Griffin and Annabel for a bike ride to visit our old friends on La Crosse.

Tie Dye Babes

Aunt Eva made all the kids tie dye shirts which made a great photo opp. Not the best picture of myself but I still thought it was cute enough of everyone else to post :)
