The Land

We took our first trip to "The Land" as a family this weekend. We couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather as it was in the low 70's, breezy and sunny. My parents have owned this property for many years but just recently got the "camper of all campers"...pretty much a mini-house. With young kids it is pretty essential to have place for them to nap/sleep for the night, running water for potty-time and showers at the end of the day and a place to cook food for them to eat. This camper had it all, plus more. However, we didn't spend much time in the camper as there was too much to do outside. We went fishing, played with horses, went swimming in the pond, swung in the hammock, gardened and took rides on the ATV and riding mower. By far, Griffin's favorite part was the ATV and riding mower. We never went out of first gear with him on the ATV, the blades weren't on with the mower when Griffin was on it and he didn't actually ride it by himself (as it looks like in one picture), for all those concerned! HE LOVED IT! I'm pretty sure he spent a good 5 hours total on the mower (mostly), in one day. More pictures of the rest of our time down there to come later :)
