Grandma bought us a mini-power-wheels ATV, little do they know this is just a preface to what they will get to ride on this weekend at the land! (Hint, hint: a new two-seater Jeep Power Wheels)

Nurturing Side

Annabel has really taken to her baby dolls that she has lately. She attempts to dress them, feeds them, rocks them, reads them books and puts them to sleep and then sleeps with them. Although she is mostly surrounded by trucks it is really neat to see her seek out the dolls and take care of them :)

Hanging Out

Our new (and amazing) nanny, Kate, started for us a couple weeks ago when I started back at work. Most of these are snapshots she captured while she was here. We love Kate: she has fun with kids, they have fun with her, she is a very with-it kind of person and she even helps me out around the house while the kids are sleeping. Last but not least, Kate is getting her Masters in Speech and Language pathology at UC. With a little boy who might be starting a speech IEP soon and a little girl who is learning to talk we feel it was a match made in heaven. Thank you Kate for all you do for us!

Forgot to make it "Blog Official"

Not that this will be news for anyone since everyone now knows, but the Lyons family is expecting baby number 3 come Feb/March of 2012. I am due on Feb 29th (Leap Day) and we will find out in about 5 weeks if it is a boy or a girl. We could not be any more happy/thankful than we already are. We have always wanted to have 3 children close in age and the fact that getting pregnant and having healthy children has been something God has blessed us with does not go forgotten for a single day. We can't wait to finalize our family in late winter when we have a 3 year old, an almost-2 year old and a newborn. A little overwhelming when put that way but even in writing down and having it sink in even more, I have a huge smile on my face. We are Blessed.

Pushing Baby Noah

Annabel loves to push her baby dolls around in the stroller but tonight she got to push a real baby (her cousin Noah) and she could not have been more proud.
