The constant giggling on both of their behalves makes this game more enjoyable to watch since I am in constant fear of someone getting hurt. I love how holding hands doesn't get them close enough!

Where's the Snow?

For a little boy who is more excited about snow this season than he was Christmas, this winter has sure been disappointing. We had an ice storm last night but that's not as much fun as snow!

6 More Weeks

These past few weeks have been crazy hard on my body. I am CONSTANTLY trying to catch my breath, exhausted, the nausea is back every night, my back aches and my venous issues are to the point of throbbing so bad that by the end of the day I can't stand up. The countdown has begun for me. I take no part of this wonderfully healthy pregnancy for granted but my body is letting me know I need to slow down...however, I have a job and 2 other very young children so I really don't know how to slow down. I will just keep counting down the weeks and days :)

*until we get to meet this amazing little girl
*until Griffin becomes a big brother to yet another little sister, a role he has already perfected
*until Annabel meets her little sister for the first time, for which her mommy is prays is just like the relationship she has with her own sister
*until Annabel's world is rocked by a little baby her mom has to share her attention with
*until I realize that I thought I was tired NOW...
*until we make a lot of grandparents very happy to welcome their 6th grandchild (on both sides!)
*until we become a family of five which is what Scott and I have wished for since we started dating over 13 years ago

Name Writing

Griffin wrote his name independently for the first time tonight. "G" is backwards and "f"s are missing their hooks but it is perfect in my eyes. Could be the pregnancy hormones or the fact that I am a teacher but possibly one of my proudest moments with him :)

First Haircut

Annabel had been sporting the baby mullet for a while and her dad and I were struggling to take her to get her first haircut. We remembered how after her big brother got his first haircut he never quite looked like our little baby anymore and that was holding us back. She did such a good job sitting still for her bob 'do. She had some natural stacking in the back that we kept and we also kept her bangs long to grow out. She definitely looks older but we're dealing with it :)

First Snow of the Season (kinda)

Just a slight dusting but that didn't stop us from breaking out the snow pants, sleds and hot chocolate.
