Sippies and Monkeys

Annabel loves drinking water from her new sippy cup. Half of it ends upon her shirt but it keeps her happy while I make dinner. I realized what I can NOT do while cooking dinner is put Annabel in her crib and leave Griffin in her room with her. It got a little too quiet (a bad sign actually) so I went to check and found Griffin in his sister's crib. He was singing her a new song her learned at preschool and trying to help her do the hand movements for it, which canceled out any opportunity of getting upset with him.

Griffin and Annabel had a blast with almost their entire family (aunts, uncles, grandparents, & cousins from both sides) today at Oktoberfest.

First day of preschool

Today was my baby's first day of preschool and it was pretty hard not to cry as I was walking him to his room. He was a little shy at first, warmed up and made friends with a little boy named Noah, played with stickers and talked to his teacher about bugs. I know all this because I got to stay on the first day :) He is looking forward to going "all by myself" next week. Just not sure if I'm looking forward to it!

Annabel-6 months

I took some pictures of Annabel in her tutu that my cousin Amity made her. She will be 6 months in just a few days. Griffin has lots of photos coming as his first day of preschool is tomorrow!

Already?

I took this (and 20 other shots) of Annabel after she got up on her hands and knees and proceeded to rock back and forth. I kept missing the shot. I was amazed she was already doing this as she isn't even 6 months yet. She desperately wants to keep up with her big brother!

Uh-Oh!

Griffin is allowed to watch tv twice a day (during and after his breathing treatments) and his little sister loves to watch with him. She sits next to him and laughs when he laughs. She thinks her big brother is hilarious, and so does he...

A Visit from Cousin Kate

My cousin Kate (whatever that is to Griffin and Annabel) came to visit today. She brought toys for Griffin and held Annabel while Annabel just smiled at her. On another note, Happy belated 2nd birthday to cousin Camryn! We got to celebrate with her yesterday at her party but I never managed to take a single picture. I'm learning its hard to do with two kids and even more so without the help from a husband who was at a bachelor party :)

If Annabel smiles any bigger these days she is going to hurt herself. And yes, that is a cat in our house. He moews at our front door until we let him in to look around all the time now. Probably not the best idea with all the allergies we've got going on :)
