We met some friends at a park to ride our bikes and have some fun before the AWFUL heat kicked in today.

New Toys
With better head control Addie now enjoys the exersaucer and Jumperoo. With better fine motor control she also now enjoys sucking on her toes. And, yes, we know her hair sticks straight up!

Gymnastics
Marching to warm-up
Every Monday morning this summer Griffin and Annabel are taking a gymnastics class together. There are only two other kids in the class so they get a lot of teacher time which is great.
Gone Fishin'
Scott took Griffin fishing yesterday with his uncle and cousins. He was pretty proud of his catches!

Mt Lookout Swim Club
Scott has been out of town for work this week (=I can't see straight I'm so tired) so we stayed at my parents for a few days, which was very nice of them! We went to their swim club one night and even though the big pool was closed (poop accident) we had fun in the baby pool. Adelyn even went in for the first time!

Fairfax Swim Club
Annabel is part fish (she swam from end of the shallow end to the other without any help but from her swimvest the other day and jumps in without us catching her already), Griffin loves playing catch in the water and Adelyn is always exhausted from watching all the fun. We love belonging to a pool!

Donovan Tire
My uncles own Donovan Tire in Pleasant Ridge and the kids love going there to see all the cool stuff like air guns, tire changers and car lifts. Although they end up a black greasy mess and I worry for their lives with the heavy machinery, they have a blast.
Fun in Felicity
My sister, Shell, and her two boys, Gavin and Austin cam in town for 10 glorious fun-filled days. We hadn't seen them since last summer and the kids had so much fun together. One of the days we went to the land in Felicity. After riding the tractor, swimming in the pond and picking and eating one billion blackberries the 3 older kids took a nap in the camper together.
Hahana Beach
Although the food is never the best, the adults got to enjoy some beers and a semi-quiet meal while the kids had a blast in the sand.
Plums!
Our plums from our plum tree have ripened enough to be eaten finally...I think Griffin ate about 15 this morning.
